A Labor Of Love
Maison Borgeat has its roots in very ancient Bordeaux. Its current emblem, featuring an M and a B in a floral design, dates back to 1856.
Abel (1876-1937) is considered the originator of the Maison Borgeat philosophy. His winemaking skills were advanced for his time; he was able to produce an affordable wine as good as more sought-after wines. His genius contributed to improving the overall quality of Bordeaux wines.
Through his work and his spirit, he brought coordination and expertise that span generations. This is why, to this day, the “Abel spirit” remains strongly present at Maison Borgeat: offering consumers the best quality at an attractive price.
